The Pumpkin Park by Rannikon Puutarha
The Pumpkin Park is the heart of Pumpkin Weeks and the main attraction of the entire event. This year, Rannikon Puutarha brings the Pumpkin Park to life again with its skillfully carved pumpkins and delicious pumpkin products. Of course, you can also purchase your own pumpkin to carve and enjoy!
The park is moving and renewing
Pumpkin Park will be built in October 2026 at its new location, just a short distance from the familiar field where visitors have enjoyed the event in previous years. Join us for an unforgettable autumn holiday experience surrounded by thousands of pumpkins, twinkling lights and the unique magic of the season.
Before your visit, we recommend reviewing the information below on getting here and parking, accessibility, and visiting Pumpkin Park with your dog.
The opening day schedule will be confirmed closer to the event. From October 10 to October 18, 2026, visitors can enjoy the Pumpkin Park daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. Admission is free for everyone.

Getting Here, Parking & Safety
Arriving by Train
From Salo Railway Station, you can easily board the Pumpkin Bus (Paikku Route 622), which operates between the station and the event area throughout Pumpkin Weeks.
Arriving by Bus
The nearest stop for long-distance and local bus services is located at Salo Bus Station on Mariankatu. From there, you can continue directly to Pumpkin Park on the Pumpkin Bus (Paikku Route 622).
Getting Here by Public Transport Made Easy
Check Pumpkin Bus connections and timetables easily using the Waltti Journey Planner or the Waltti Mobile app. Planning your journey in advance helps you find the most convenient route to Pumpkin Park. For more detailed information about local public transport in Salo, please visit the Paikku website, which is available in eight different languages.
Along the way, you can also enjoy the programme and experiences organised by our event partners in Salo city centre.
The Pumpkin Bus stops are Törnintie P when travelling from Salo city centre towards Pumpkin Park, and Törnintie E when returning towards the city centre.
Arriving by Car & Parking
To help avoid traffic congestion, we kindly ask visitors arriving by car to park at Salo Railway Station (Asemakatu 2, FI-24100 Salo) or the parking area at Prisma Halikko (Prismantie 2, FI-24800 Halikko). Visitors travelling from the Helsinki direction are requested to exit the motorway at the ABC Piihovi interchange. From there, the journey continues conveniently on the Pumpkin Bus (Paikku Route 622).
Prisma Halikko is also located within walking distance of Pumpkin Park, approximately 1.7 kilometres away and less than a 30-minute walk. The address of Pumpkin Park is Vaskiontie 50, 24800 Halikko (Salo).
Parking is not permitted in residential driveways, on private roads, or along public streets. Access routes must be kept clear at all times for local residents, service vehicles, and emergency services.
Safety
October evenings can be dark, so please remember to wear a reflector. We especially encourage families to make sure children are clearly visible when moving around parking areas, bus stops and roadsides. Pumpkin-themed reflectors are available for purchase at Pumpkin Park.
Comfort tip: Pumpkin Weeks takes place in the middle of the Finnish autumn. We recommend weather-appropriate, waterproof clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor terrain. October weather can be unpredictable, and rubber boots are often an excellent choice, especially on rainy days.
Accessibility
Pumpkin Park is partially accessible. The park features varied terrain, and ease of access may also be affected by changing weather conditions. No matter how you choose to explore the area, you'll still be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere and autumn magic of Pumpkin Park.
Please note that the Pumpkin Park does not have an accessible toilet on-site. The nearest accessible restroom is located at Prisma Halikko, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Accessible parking is available daily from 10 AM to 4 PM. After 4 PM, parking inside the park area is no longer permitted to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all guests, especially during the darker evening hours.
Dogs at Pumpkin Park
Dogs are welcome at the Pumpkin Park, but safety always comes first.
The park can be a busy environment, with large numbers of visitors, young children, other dogs and a variety of sights, sounds and other stimuli that may be overwhelming for some dogs.
We kindly ask all visitors to consider in advance whether the event environment is suitable for their dog. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, dogs must be kept on a leash and under their owner's control at all times during the visit. Unvaccinated dogs should be left at home or in the care of a trusted dog sitter while you're enjoying Pumpkin Weeks.
Cleaning up after your dog is the owner's responsibility, including picking up and properly disposing of all dog waste.
We also recommend equipping your dog with reflectors or small safety lights. As the evenings grow darker, a little extra visibility helps keep every four-legged visitor safe while exploring Pumpkin Park.
