Pumpkin Weeks ♥︎ Salo

Salo is an easygoing and accessible town in Southwest Finland, located between Turku and Helsinki. We locals might not make a big fuss about ourselves – and that’s exactly why many people are pleasantly surprised by everything there is to discover here.

Salo is known for its history as an electronics town, but it is also a peaceful blend of nature, everyday local life, and unique discoveries. Close by, you’ll find coastal landscapes, idyllic villages, and Teijo National Park – places where you can move, take a breather, and experience the very best of the autumn season.
In the town itself, cafés, restaurants, independent shops, and events are waiting for you, all with an authentically local atmosphere.

During Pumpkin Weeks, Salo takes on a truly special atmosphere as the town fills with light, experiences, and moments of togetherness. The event isn’t experienced in just one place, but all around the town – and that’s exactly what makes it so unique.

There’s plenty to see and experience during Pumpkin Weeks – enough to enjoy for more than just a day. That’s why we encourage you to stay overnight, or even a little longer. This way, you can take your time with the event and also get to know Salo beyond the celebrations.

Whether you’re visiting on your own or with friends or family, Salo offers space to breathe, experience, and enjoy. We warmly welcome you to Kurpitsaviikot – and of course, to Salo all year round!
