Getting to Pumpkin Weeks is easy, whether you're arriving by car, public transport or the Pumpkin Bus. On this page, you'll find all the practical information you need for a smooth journey, so you can start enjoying the autumn atmosphere and the unique experiences of Pumpkin Weeks from the moment your trip begins.
Getting to the Pumpkin Park by Pumpkin Bus
You can now conveniently travel close to the Pumpkin Park by public transport. The Pumpkin Bus (Paikku route 622, operated by Salo public transport) runs from 9 to 18 October between Salo railway station, Halikko and the Pumpkin Park, continuing to Märynummi and back. Services run daily from afternoon until late evening, between 12:10 PM and 10:30 PM.
The nearest stops to the Pumpkin Park are Törnintie E and Törnintie P on Vaskiontie. You can hop on the Pumpkin Bus at any Paikku bus stop along the route, making it easy to join the festivities wherever you're travelling from.
Tickets
Standard Paikku tickets and fares are valid on the Pumpkin Bus:

Single ticket purchased on board with cash (exact fare only): Adult €4.00, Child €2.00.
All tickets include a 2-hour transfer period, allowing you to change between routes at no extra cost. Paikku season tickets and value tickets are also valid on the Pumpkin Bus.
Routes and Timetables
The Pumpkin Bus runs hourly between 12 PM and 2 PM, every 30 minutes between 2 PM and 5 PM, and every 15 minutes between 5 PM and 10:30 PM. The Waltti Route Guide also allows you to track buses in real time and plan your journey with ease.

Arriving by Train
Salo Railway Station is easily accessible from across Finland. From the station, you can continue your journey on the Pumpkin Bus (Paikku route 622), which serves the area near the event throughout Pumpkin Weeks.
The Pumpkin Bus offers a hassle-free way to reach the Pumpkin Park without worrying about parking. Along the way, you can simply sit back and enjoy the autumn scenery as you make your way to the heart of Pumpkin Weeks.
Arriving by Bus
The nearest stop for long-distance and local bus services is Salo Bus Station on Mariankatu. From the bus station, you can continue your journey to the Pumpkin Park on the Pumpkin Bus (Paikku route 622).

Arriving by Car and Recommended Parking Areas
Traffic around the event area can be busy during the most popular times of Pumpkin Park. To help keep traffic flowing smoothly, we kindly ask visitors to use the designated park-and-ride parking areas and continue their journey on the Pumpkin Bus. Below you will find our recommended free parking locations.
Salo Railway Station
Asemakatu 2, FI-24100 Salo
Park your car at the railway station and continue your journey on the Pumpkin Bus, which will take you close to the Pumpkin Park.
Prisma Halikko
Prismantie 2, FI-24800 Halikko
From Prisma Halikko, you can continue your journey on the Pumpkin Bus or walk to the Pumpkin Park. The walking distance is approximately 1.7 kilometres and takes less than 30 minutes at a comfortable pace.
Arriving from the Helsinki Direction
If you're arriving from the Helsinki direction, we kindly ask you to exit the motorway at the ABC Piihovi interchange and continue either to Salo city centre and the railway station or to Prisma Halikko via regional road 110.
Accessible Parking
Visitors displaying a valid accessible parking permit may park within the Pumpkin Park area daily between 10 AM and 4 PM. After 4 PM, parking is no longer permitted inside the park area to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors during the darker evening hours.
Safety and Comfort
Parking is not permitted in residential driveways, on private roads, or along public streets. Access routes must be kept clear at all times for local residents, service vehicles, and emergency services.
Please use the recommended parking areas and follow all traffic signs, parking regulations and instructions provided by traffic controllers. By working together and respecting local residents and fellow visitors, we can help ensure that Pumpkin Weeks remains a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
October evenings can be dark, so please remember to wear a reflector. We especially encourage families to make sure children are clearly visible when moving around parking areas, bus stops and roadsides. Pumpkin-themed reflectors are available for purchase at Pumpkin Park.
Comfort tip: Pumpkin Weeks takes place in the middle of the Finnish autumn. We recommend weather-appropriate, waterproof clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor terrain. October weather can be unpredictable, and rubber boots are often an excellent choice, especially on rainy days.
