As the darker season approaches, Veturitalli invites visitors to explore the fascinating world of light art.

Light is essential to all life. It shapes our daily rhythms and serves as a powerful medium for emotions and communication. In Finland, light has a long tradition as both an artistic material and technique. The exhibition Visit valo presents a diverse selection of Finnish light art, featuring works by both contemporary artists and pioneers from previous decades.

The exhibition invites visitors to discover the possibilities of light through artworks created using a variety of techniques and styles. Light art can be experienced not only inside the museum and its surroundings, but also around the city. Artist Janne Parviainen's light paintings can be found, for example, in the illuminated display cases of Salo Main Library and Railway Station Park.
