Valon Kaiku – Echo of Light

Echo of Light is illuminated at Halikko Church each evening during Pumpkin Weeks.

The church is transformed through captivating video projections and colourful lighting, while powerful sky beams shine for kilometres and the magnificent old trees of the churchyard are bathed in light. The video installation on the church’s eastern entrance has been designed by video artist Max Lapinsuo-Sylvén, while the overall lighting design is created by Markus Kuisma.

Inside the church, visitors can enjoy atmospheric lighting and beautiful music. The church is open for visitors from the afternoon onwards.

Admission is free, the event is suitable for the whole family and the venue is fully accessible.
