Pumpkin Weeks, pumpkins and food

Pumpkin Park

The Pumpkin Park is the heart of Pumpkin Weeks and the main attraction of the entire event. This year, Rannikon Puutarha brings the Pumpkin Park to life again with its skillfully carved pumpkins and delicious pumpkin products. Of course, you can also purchase your own pumpkin to carve and enjoy!

The park's sales stalls are open to the public daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. The park itself is free of charge and accessible 24/7 until Sunday October 10 PM.

Location

The Pumpkin Park's address is:
Vanha Turuntie 63, FI-24800 Halikko

Rannikon Puutarha’s Pumpkin Park is located in Halikko area, Salo. The surrounding historical area is also part of the experience. Parking is limited, but all spaces are within a short walking distance from the park. A good alternative is to leave your car further away, for example in the Salo city centre or at Prisma Halikko retail centre's parking lot, and hop on the free Pumpkin Bus. Please do not park in residential yards.

We kindly ask you to follow the parking instructions and, whenever possible, make use of public transport. In the dark autumn evenings, it’s best to bring reflectors, dress according to the weather, and wear rubber boots — the park grounds are soft field terrain.

Arrival

You can easily reach the heart of Salo by bus or train, even from further away. From the city centre, local bus lines 120, 220, and 600A (Salo's local bus Paikku) take you towards the Pumpkin Park. Parking in the city centre is free of charge and there is plenty of space available. All local buses depart from Salo bus station.

On weekends (Sat–Sun), the free Pumpkin Bus runs between the city centre and the Pumpkin Park from 6 PM to 10 PM, departing every hour on the hour and half past. The Pumpkin Bus leaves towards Halikko from Salo railway station.
