The pumpkin park is only partially accessible. The first part of the park is on asphalt, which makes it easier for e.g. a rollator or a wheelchair, but most of the bottom of the park is a soft field area.

Kurpitsapuisto has disabled parking in its immediate vicinity, at marked points on the river crossing bridge. From the park, you can directly reach the park along a pedestrian and crosswalk.

Salossa pysäköinti on kaupungin alueella maksutonta. Kurpitsapuiston pysäköintialueet löydät täältä: Kurpitsapuisto. Viikonloppuisin auton voi jättää Halikon Prisman pihalle ja hypätä maksuttoman Kurpitsabussin kyytiin klo 18–22.

Ethän pysäköi asuintalojen pihoille tai teiden varsiin. Turvallisuussyistä väylät on pidettävä vapaana.

Bringing dogs to Kurpitsapuisto/Pumpkin Park is not prohibited, but we recommend dog owners to consider the matter from the point of view of the pet's well-being. Especially at dusk and dark, the area is full of people, running children and an exciting atmosphere. Best to think on the terms of the your dog and public safety!

There are baja huts available at the edge of the park.

The nearest disabled toilet can be found at Haliko Prisma (Prismantie 2, 24800), which has comprehensive public facilities.

Suurin osa Kurpitsapuiston pohjaa on pehmeää, heinällä peitettyä peltoaluetta. Sateella maasto voi muuttua mutaiseksi, joten suosittelemme vedenkestäviä kenkiä sekä säänmukaista vaatetusta.

Pimeällä on hyvä varustautua usein heijastimin sekä taskulampulla.

Pumpkin weeks are organized by Salon Alueen Yrittäjät ry (formerly Halikko entrepreneurs) in cooperation with the city of Salo and numerous companies, associations and other actors from Salo.
