Salon Vilpas plays in the men's Korisliiga and has achieved four SM medals during its history, the brightest crown of which is the club's first Finnish championship from the 2020-2021 season. In addition, the club's trophy cabinet contains the Finnish Cup championship from 2018 and three silver medals. Over the past eight years, Vilpas has become one of the most followed teams in the Korisliiga, both in terms of audience numbers, viewers of Ruutu+ broadcasts, as well as social media followers and reach.

On the junior and hobby side, Vilppaa has around 380 players, and the club also has a representative team in the women's 2nd division. Vilpas organizes the popular AND1 junior tournament every year as an epiphany. 110 teams participated in the 2024 tournament.
